Health and Safety Policy - Calon Safety

This H&S Policy is designed to provide guidance and applies to all employees and those working alongside, in partnership, and on behalf of Calon Safety Solutions LTD. The scope and direction of Calon Safety Solutions LTD is to integrate the management system applicable to project capital management under the control of Calon Safety Solutions.  

Calon Safety Solutions LTD's business model is based on creating shared value for both the company and society. Through our commitment to implementing a robust safety culture—such as enforcing strict policies, procedures, and safe systems of work for employees and contractors—we also influence the safety culture of the communities in which we operate. This is achieved by setting an example of commitment and minimizing accidents on our sites to achieve beyond zero harm.  

WE AT CALON SAFETY SOLUTIONS LTD ARE COMMITTED TO: Continuously improving our company's performance with regards to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE), fulfilling all statutory legislation, applicable standards, and other compliance requirements. We will set business objectives and targets that align with the organization's strategy, as agreed with senior management, and progress will be monitored regularly.  

Appropriate resources will be allocated to achieve business objectives and targets, establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the Quality, OH&S, and Environmental management system.  

We are dedicated to effectively communicating all relevant health and safety requirements, utilizing personal electronic devices, the intranet, company training programs, and noticeboards to ensure all persons working for and on behalf of Calon Safety Solutions LTD are informed of these policy requirements.  

This H&S Policy is available to the public and other relevant interested parties through the company website, notice boards, or upon request.  

We prioritize the prevention of pollution to the environment and the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems, as well as climate change mitigation and adaptation through strict adherence to legislative requirements and codes of practice.  

WE SHALL PROVIDE: A safe working environment, safe systems of work, information, instruction, training, and supervision to enable work to be carried out safely without compromise. We aim to raise awareness throughout the business and take all practicable steps to reduce risks to as low as reasonably practicable to prevent ill health, loss, damage, environmental impact, or personal injury while conducting our business.  

This policy is regularly reviewed to ensure its effectiveness and suitability.
